SC Mystery parts

Hello all.

So I'm around 70% complete with my SC build for my wife. So far so good. Just started tackling the helmet. I've glued together the top and back of the helmet. Soon I'll attach the face/visor to it.

And then I find these parts packed with the helmet bolts...anyone know what they're for?

Those are used to hold the visor in place. one strip on top, one left and right. And the U shaped at the bottom. The screw is used to hold the snout greeble in place if you choose to drill into it. :D Hope that helps. At least that's what I think. hahah

Oh you mean the lens. I see now.

Thank you. I was getting ready to glue the visor and face together and thought those pieces were involved somehow. Although I couldn't imagine how.

Below is a diagram of the lens tabs and screw placement.

The Left and Right tabs can be placed higher if you prefer them to be more centered. I recommend clamping the tabs down with metal spring clamps as the ABS-plastic glue dries.

Thanks for that pic, that helps a bunch. :)
